About Andrew

I have lived in Clarkson-Lorne Park for over twenty years and continue to maintain strong family roots within the neighbourhood. My wife Jordan and I live on Davebrook Road with our 3-year old son Ashton – our pride and joy – who will be entering the new full-day kindergarten program next year.

Question Period

Andrew speaking at Council on PQP - Sept 30 2009

Having worked for several years in a variety of jobs, from film projectionist to security guard to law firm mailroom associate, I am currently taking classes in my final year of an English and History Degree at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM).

Last summer, I convinced City Council to retain the tradition of Public Question Period at their meetings, by accepting a reasonable compromise instead of eliminating it completely. Even when some councilors attempted to derail the discussion, I remained focused on the issue, and the result is that we still have PQP today.

Known for speaking my mind and calling things as I see them, I have worked hard over the years to build bridges between communities and bring people together towards common goals. In all my activities, I am not afraid to ask the hard questions, while at the same time working towards effective solutions.
